Primary bath overhaul with an elevated glamour-coastal vibe! Swipe through to see before pics to see what a difference adding gold pendant lights above framed mirrors and pale blue vanities made. And the tiled floor that looks like whitewashed wood planks is the icing on the cake.

Clients asked for cool, modern, unique primary bedroom reno. Started with a white “box”, removed crown, painted, @melissa_goettke worked her magic with my sketch in a way only she can… added in some organic pieces to soften it up like these beautiful organic @arhaus pendants and lots of fabric, layers and texture in bedding over a great rug. Add in a seating area across from bed and slats behind the tv and VOILA!

This 84” hood was custom made for us and personally driven from North Carolina by @hoodsly but wouldn’t have been complete without @ekenamillwork. They were so easy to work with - I designed the corbels and they created them to my exact specifications without a hitch. It was definitely a dream team. Other special touches we put in this white kitchen to keep it from being boring or cold include: a pale blue island, gorgeous bouchon Zellige tile, sconces above the windows and my favorite…a wood stained wine cubby that matched our floating shelves and band around the hood. Thank you to @gabledesign for all the extra work we do together to make kitchens unique and special. This kitchen will finally be complete when we have our custom wallpaper installed in a few weeks on the large blank wall opposite the hood. Stay tuned!

Love it when my client’s contractor tells her this is their favorite kitchen they’ve ever installed. There are so many details that make this new kitchen special (will post those soon) including the 84” custom hood that took two companies team-working with me to make masterpiece happen.

I could sing @meyerbrothersandsons78 praises but you can see for yourself the way they transformed this space (swipe through to see Before pic). I dream it up and they make it happen -works for me!

Obsessed with this new kitchen for SO many reasons. Number 1 is the “Tea Ceremony” zellige tile under our custom range hood. Grateful for clients who trusted me to do a black and white kitchen with this hint of color. More pics to come!

First time designing built-ins with a bar in the middle - thank you @melissa_goettke for bringing my vision to life with perfection. Was all we could do not to have a cocktail while waiting to do the client reveal and celebrate the transformation. Swipe to see the before.

Reposting a kitchen I did a couple years ago to show how to do a white kitchen and keep it from being sterile: a pretty runner, soft honey bronze accents, woven light wood counter stools, pretty shaped marble backsplash tile and a wood stained coffee bar all contribute to making this new kitchen feel so special and inviting.

Think sliding “barn” doors are too rustic for your space? I love adding custom versions to add “wow” and functionality in lower levels. These oversized doors can be left open when the room is being used as a game room and eventually closed when that room becomes a guest bedroom. But always those doors will be a beautiful element in this new lower level that helps it not feel like a basement.

What a difference a couple small changes can make (swipe to see before pic). Tip: I usually paint the chair rails in a dining room. You still have the architectural interest of the dimensionality of the rail but you’re not splitting the room in half. This allows paint color to have more of an impact and allows for the illusion of taller ceilings.

Still in the lull of renovations in process so pulling one of my bathrooms from the archives ❤️. Stay tuned though … as I’ll be posting a new kitchen renovation within next week!

Waiting on a couple bathroom remodels in progress so in the interim thought I’d look back at some of my past favorites. In this bathroom we created his and her vanities with a gorgeous blue tile on the full wall behind the mirrors. Laid the tile out in a herringbone pattern for interest and tied it in with a complementary accent tile in the shower. Even a smaller primary bathroom can be a “wow” with the right touches.

Client just told me this once never-used room is now the family favorite after our renovation. Added all new windows (and more of them), added stone fireplace, new flooring and painted ceiling a dusty sky blue (to cover orangey-stained bead board). New neutral furniture with rust and blue accents and lots of greenery and it now feels like a relaxing gathering spot. But if I’m going to be honest, it was easy to design this room with views like these! Scroll through to see BEFORE pic for the dramatic transformation.

Was an honor to consult on this kitchen renovation and help clients mix metals. Especially love the soft black metal hood mixed with honey bronze cabinet pulls. And of course this quartzite backsplash is everything!

New primary bathroom in Terrace Park❤️. Timeless in its simplicity and a touch of modernity in this beautiful older home.

Last pics of our latest kitchen renovation featuring the hood area. To keep kitchen bright and airy we created a lot of open space here. Added these timeless Visual Comfort sconces above the Quartz backsplash with Quartz ledge. A couple vintage prints and some wooden salt/pepper shakers and we’re complete!

I love a coffee station in a kitchen - and especially this one. Could be the custom deep green cabinets with honey bronze hardware, could be the glossy backsplash tile, could be the glass upper cabinets… but I think it’s really the mini drawers on the sides. It’s all in the details!

Clients gave me free rein to design their kitchen… so of course end result is one of my favorite renovations this year! Swipe to see the BEFORE pic. Goes to show you don’t need an all-white kitchen to brighten up a space. Thank you to @gabledesign for helping me customize this cabinetry with these custom color and design elements.

Quartz going in today - exciting as it means we’re approaching the finish line! Next the quartz ledge gets added to top of backsplash. I never cease to be impressed with how much these guys can carry and the precision of their execution.
