Appliances aren’t in and staging hasn’t happened but couldn’t wait to post our latest kitchen renovation in partnership with @meyerbrothersandsons78. They made these cabinets and let me tell you - they are stunning! We did all taupe (the richness unfortunately isn’t being captured in these pics) with an Iron Ore “furniture piece” and a soft white hood. We completed the look with a pretty ivory arabesque scroll backsplash tile and two different quartz countertops. More to come on this whole house gut and renovation as it completes!

Can’t wait to post this new kitchen once our backordered kitchen pendant arrives. In the interim, I’m obsessed with the new coffee station❤️. And I just learned that light and medium roast coffee has significantly more anti-oxidants than dark roast. Who knew?!

The beginning of a family room makeover (swipe for BEFORE)…. Painted beams and walls soft white and window/door trim a light taupe. Of course the fireplace brick got a beautiful gray-green-blue BM color and new mantel…. and we replaced the fan with a simple chandelier. That alone made a huge difference. Adding in the rug, staging, decorative pillows and beautiful soft black bookcases right now so more pics to come!

Staging days might be my favorite. The challenge of finding low priced accessories (thank you Homegoods!) and then mixing and arranging them for just the right aesthetic. Add in that we’re always past the construction chaos by this point and my love for the immediate gratification that comes with staging. The little details matter.

Just finished staging our newest library. The green velvet loveseat embedded in the dusty blue built-ins is so dreamy. Thank you @arhaus for customizing the loveseat for us and @melissa_goettke for continuing to build to perfection what I dream up. More pics to come once coffee table is in.

I really love a layered look on a mantel. I especially love one piece with color and one without so they don’t compete with one another. I usually complete the look with a tall piece on the end to provide balance (a vase with greenery or tall candlesticks). Will post the completed room when we’ve staged the built-ins and all the furniture is in.

Client wanted a jewel box that wasn’t too dark and I think we’ve nearly achieved that thanks to the expert wallpaper install by @galemancini including the magical ceiling grasscloth by @serenaandlily. Especially love the mix of textures and natural elements like the cotton- jute rug and coco bead chandelier. Only thing left is to find the right captain’s chairs and I’m in it!

I love updating older homes to modernize while still keeping in touches of old world charm…and I especially love the brownstone-ish homes of Prospect Hill. So this renovation was close to my heart for clients I had previously done their kitchen. The custom niches @builtwithvision did for us with this beautiful Spanish tile is my favorite moment. But you could argue it could also be the black tub on top of black sliced pebbles accented with gold fixtures that makes this bathroom so special. And if I can build a shower without a door, that’s always a win. Swipe to see the BEFORE.

Client wanted a classic white kitchen - which is always beautiful -but of course we had to add something special. We added a custom arched pantry door and painted it a deep gray-blue (one shade lighter and a couple shades bluer than the island) and it is the perfect touch.

To warm up our ultra-modern kitchen renovation we added lots of texture with this polished “stars and cross” backsplash (love it so much!) and a warm stained wood island. Hints of gold in the hardware and the interior of these custom hammered black pendant lights add just the right amount of bling and warmth as well. Thank you @meyerbrothersandsons78 for the beautiful custom cabinetry and expert install.

We carried that beautiful Benjamin Moore blue to the adjoining pool powder room and gave it a touch of a retro feel with the black rimmed milk glass lighting and framed vintage swimsuit.

We converted an old storage room into a pool mudroom/laundry room and love how it turned out! Scroll for the BEFORE pic to see the transformation. Again @builtwithvision came through in executing a custom pool toy/towel storage piece that before existed only on my sketch pad. Stay tuned to see the adjoining pool PR I’ll be posting soon!

This new mudroom fits this older home in Indian Hill perfectly (thanks to the new slate floors) while still feeling fresh and updated (scroll for more pics and the BEFORE). We did a mix of closed cabinetry (for brooms, craft supplies, etc) and open bench for coats and backpacks. Kraftmaid Bonsai is the most beautiful shade of green especially against all the gold hardware and lights. But by far my favorite detail is the cabinet cutouts we did. Thank you to @builtwithvision for taking my vision and making it a reality - no matter how complicated the ask!
